Performances and Interviews (zusaetlich zu denen, die schon drauf sind)

Franziska Huhn performs Salzedo’s “Variations on a Theme in the Ancient Style” live on WGBH’s Classical New England in 2006:
“I saw the harp and said I would be a harpist.” A short interview with Franziska Huhn:
“Freed from both the shackles and safety of precedent, it becomes our honorable task as musicians to be the first to interpret and understand the composer’s creation, and ultimately to present the new work to an audience as the treasure it is.”
“I saw the harp when I was six years old and completely fell in love with it. I finally was set up to start at age nine, after piano lessons [among other instruments,] and since then, have lived my dream of becoming a professional harpist,” said Huhn. “Discovering new repertoire with old
friends and sharing it with your local community is one of the best privileges a musician can have”
